Melon Skewers with Fresh Mozzarella, Prosciutto and Basil
 
 
I won't lie, this is a great appetizer of course, but it's also a fantastic DINNER on a miserably hot day in Los Angeles (or anywhere)! Want to win over some kiddos, make these cute balls of awesome for dinner. They've got it all, fruit, cheese, meat and herbs. Winner winner you rocked dinner!

Ingredients
  • Honeydew Melon, balled with melon baller
  • Cantaloupe, balled with melon baller
  • Watermelon, balled with melon baller
  • 8 ounces Ciliegine Mozzarella balls
  • 4 ounces sliced Prosciutto
  • Handful fresh Basil leaves
  • Aged Balsamic vinegar to drizzle
  • Flaky salt, like Maldon, for finishing
Instructions
  1. Skewer one ball of each melon, 2 balls mozzarella, 2 folded pieces prosciutto and basil leaves alternating on a 7 inch skewer. Skewer until you run out of ingredients!
  2. Plate and drizzle with aged balsamic vinegar.
  3. Sprinkle with a flaky finishing salt like Maldon.
  4. ENJOY!!!
