Happy Margarita Monday!! Welcome to the last installment of Margarita Mondays, as we say goodbye to August. Today we have a super chill kiwi slush margarita. Who doesn’t love a slush?! Make this for the kid in you (albeit the kid that wants tequila but, pfffft, we won’t tell;).
This kiwi slush margarita may look fancy, but it’s just a quick blitz in a blender poured into a fancy glass. Treat yo’ self! The flavor is divine, though. Refreshing and fun, you’ll never want it to end!
Thanks for doing Margarita Mondays with me this August! I know it’s been a chore, but someone has to make and drink all of these incredible margaritas;)
- 2 ripe kiwi, peeled and chopped
- ⅓ cup lime juice
- ¼ cup orange juice
- ¼ cup raw agave nectar
- pinch sea salt
- 4 ounces (1/2 cup) tequila
- pinch sea salt
- 3 cups ice cubes
- 4 slices kiwi, to garnish
- In a high powered blender, blend all ingredients except garnish until a slush forms and no chunks of ice remain.
- Pour slush evenly among 4 stemmed glasses. Garnish each glass with a kiwi slice.
