Let me start by saying I did not have high hopes for this one. I’ve had friends that have tried to dye eggs naturally using foods over the years with little luck, but I’ve got to say WOW! I love these! I love the colors and the textures. The mottled surface make the blueberry dyed eggs look like greyish stone and the beet dyed eggs look like dark blue galaxies. I’ve never seen this type of effect from store bought egg dyes, even the natural ones. It’s a bit of work but, after seeing these beauties, I may just have to do them every year!
